| Established in 1920, the company was originally a producer of children's toys under the name The American Toy Airship Co. As the need for precision screw machine products grew, the direction of the company changed and by 1935 had become a full fledged screw machine job shop under the name American Electrical Prod. Co. The company is a hometown, third generation, family owned business with a solid reputation for quality and excellence. This philosophy resulted in the company becoming one of the first screw machine shops in the USA to become QS-9000/ISO-9002.
In the year 2000 to better identify the copmany as a manufacturer of precision screw machine products, the name was changed to Amerascrew, Inc. Also, in 2004 the company we recertified in ISO 2002.
Amerascrew has over 42,000 square feet in a modern, well lit, clean and neat facility that houses a complete line on 5-axis CNC's, multiple and single spindle automatics, CNC machining centers and other secondary equipment.
At Amerascrew precision parts are produced from a variety of materials. Anything from free cutting brass to aerospace materials is routinely machined. Whether your order is for large or small quantites, it will be completed on a timely basis.
