Produtos SPCOM Serra - Notícias: The IME Manufacturing Laboratory is a fully equipped prototype development and production laboratory capable of parts production and assemblies in many types of materials. Computer controlled production of prototypes as well as full production runs allows the Manufacturing Lab to be product oriented and capable of producing many iterations of the prototype or assemblies. Our computer systems are capable of translating many different types of files from CAD systems other than our own.

Inspection Services Facilities include an inspection room, a manual Coordinate Measurement Machine and an optical comparator.
All measuring instruments are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Fabricated Parts including Weldments
Shear, Brake and welding operations must be evaluated on a case by case basis but machine maximum sizes are about 36”
All welding operations are supported for prototype and production welding.

Produtos SPCOM Serra - Notícias: M & R of Long Beach was started by myself January 1, 1976 and owned and opperated ever sience. I started out in oil tool industru and some automotive work. When the oil tool industry moved to Texas in the 1980's I became the sole sorce for a major fire hydrant manufacturer on the west coast and machined all of his hydrants from 1978 to 1997 when he stoped manufacturing hydrants. After 1997 I purched a building that was much smaller and started to downsize my company. After down sizing I've been in volved in almost every industry except areospace. My equiptment is mostly late modle C.N.C. 6 vmc with tool changers from # 6 to # 4. Three have 4th. axis, 2C.N.C. knee mills, 6 C.N.C lathes.1 with 12" chuck, 2 with 10" chucks. and 3 with 8" chucks. Ialso have 4 engine lathe, 2 mills, radial drill, and welding abilities.
